Marie Elcock
Marie was a member of the York Railway Institute (RI) for several years before moving to Stillington in 2019.
She started as a junior attending RI coaching sessions and quickly developed into a technically gifted player. She progressed to compete in the Yorkshire Leagues , during which period she was a member of several successful title winning teams. She continues to compete, representing SSRC in the York & District Leagues (Ladies and Mens divisions).
She initially started her coaching career by assisting at the York RI coaching sessions before progressing through to successfully qualify as an England Squash Level 3 coach in 2010.
She has a sustained record of leading and organising coaching and training sessions for Juniors, Adults and Schools and was involved with coaching the Yorkshire Under 13 girls for a season.
At Stillington SRC, she continues her good work alongside fellow coaches at various weekly sessions. Marie is available for group as well as individual coaching for all club members.
